Eswatini, formerly known as Swaziland, is a landlocked country in Southern Africa. It has a varied topography, with mountains, valleys, and plateaus. The country is situated on the edge of the Great Escarpment and is home to several geological formations.
One of the most prominent features of the country is the Lebombo Mountains, which run along the eastern border and reach a height of over 1,800 meters. The mountains offer incredible views of the surrounding valleys and are home to a rich diversity of flora and fauna.
Another notable mountain range is the Lubombo Mountains, which run through the eastern and northeastern part of the country. These mountains are lower than the Lebombo Mountains but are still an important part of the landscape. The peaks are dotted with ancient rock art, caves, and waterfalls.
In the west, the Highveld Plateau dominates the landscape. The plateau is characterized by rolling hills, shallow valleys, and grassy plains. It is also home to several rivers and wetlands that support a variety of bird and animal life.
